The Fire Problem

Most Nigerian homes have no smoke detector. Early detection is the only thing that gives a family time to escape.
The Carbon Monoxide Problem
Every night across Nigeria, millions of families run their generators and go to sleep. Carbon monoxide has no smell. No colour. No warning. It fills enclosed spaces silently while families sleep. In Canada and across North America, carbon monoxide detectors are mandatory in every home. In Nigeria, most homes have none.
